UsedForGlue, dnt you play batman? lmao how ironic, a batman player trying to call someone else broken/ OP. Yep you get bats that spawn every few seconds, safe strings, good footsies, good jump ins, pretty much can handle the whole cast just fine, can keep ppl out/get in on ppl just fine, and some consider him #1 in the game but scorpion was broken bcuz ppl think adapting takes like a few days? your logic is quite incorrect sir. Dnt give me any bs with your reply, I want legit reasons why a character deserves a DAMN nerf after a few days, pls let me know. I doubt you will tho bcuz i'm sure no one can. They didn't even nerf kabal/rax when mk9 launched and they were WAY worse than scorpion is in this game. Such bs but that's TYM for ya.

could you say that one more time? haha. Why not "BUFF" the chars that need help, nerfing won't change the balance bcuz other chars will just replace the nerfed ones......

I thought this was what NRS was supposed to be doing in the first place if I understand correctly. Online warriors must have done a pretty good job convincing them to change their minds.

Honestly, and I mean honestly, what can you do for Bane aside from...

Give level 2 venom 2 hits of armor

and/or

Give level 3 venom parry immunity

I ask honestly to see how much you guys really look into the guy. Everyone says he needs buffs, but exactly what does he need?

There's a reason why they didn't do more with other characters. Small changes like this are easier to put out on XBL than full blown patches. In fact, seeing people claim that NRS is "listening to whiners" is hilarious considering this patch, by the timing, was probably up a day or so after Scorpion was made available. It takes days for Microsoft to verify a patch before allowing it to go live, and that's when they're quick. The red tape that is XBL is bad, you can look up the nightmares it caused Indie devs on XBLA before they said "fuck it" and stopped trying to patch their games.

I don't think NRS would go through the hassle to crank out a patch just because of some whiners. It was probably left out due to size restrictions or some other error/reason/act of god.

man if I worked with NRS, I'd do a better job then they do as far as the patching goes for sure. You can't just spam patches and do them every week, that makes no sense. And yeah i'm a logical man, I try my best to put knowledge into forums that are filled with a tornado of things.

this could be quite true for sure, but when i look at who's been nerfed "like DS and aquaman", i'm pretty positive that they are nerfing chars that get whined about do to something ppl dnt like (aquaman's trait). Also the patches are coming very consistently, i dnt know any other FG that has had like 4 to 5 patches in like a month.......

what difference does it make who he plays? hes talking about the character.

that last point is terribad, nrs was pretty new to proper fighting games

uhm it actually does matter who he plays. Aint any way a batman player can act like someone is so "OP" when they play a character that has a multitude of tools as well. That makes no sense. Also the last point was made to show that broken as kabal with the NDC infinite stayed untouched longer than scorpion, comprehend what i say before replying to it, just saying.

NRS patches a lot and EVO is coming up. That's my best explanation. It is definitely not be a good idea to over-patch the game, but they've done a decent job so far. Aquaman got the same treatment. People who hit confirmed, were smart, and didn't play like fish (irony) weren't affected. I'm hoping the next DLC patch is the last pass until well after EVO. There's good intentions but it's an MK repeat

btw Deathstroke didn't deserve it.

We're not dismissing all the complications that come with distributing patches between corporations, we're actually questioning the changes at hand and who they cater to.

Give me one good reason why Scorpion's flipkick is now unsafe while BA's Divekick is unchanged. Just one.

except scorpion was insta-top 3

again, who cares if he mains batman, youre just disrespecting his opinion as a player, just because someone mains a good character does not mean they shouldnt have an opinion about another. a kabal player in mk9 could complain sonyas ex kartwheel was braindead the same as a subzero player would, guess what, it would just as valid. were talking about the games health here, not " omg you main op too stfu"

every player is free to speak his mind, especially when hes such a high lvl and does not fuck around like 99% of the pros here

your last point was invalid because the infinite was not known for long and NRS could not patch whenever they wanted to on their first actually competitive title. Thats the same as nerfing adams divekick at the 4th patch and saying they shouldve done it from the first.

He isn't saying he doesn't have a right to complain. He is saying that it is hypocritical and that his general argument is attenuated...

90% of Scorpion players tricked themselves by telling themselves over and over that ''this is a character that plays how I would play'' or ''other players just don't understand him like I do at the minute'', when the truth is, he was broken, and you didn't need to know what you were doing in the first place.
