I actually find it quite amusing when I end up getting matched up against the same person a few times in a row, losing 3 times, but ultimately when I win the 4th time, they quit out before it finishes. Just thinking about how they look and what goes through their head as they rush to quit in time, because they can't handle a loss...now that's just hilarious to me. :)

Some people put WAY too much importance into stats/records.

Eh I suppose that's true, I mean it's a little unsatisfying to not be able to finish the match, but at the same time if I don't really care bout ratio I shouldn't really care right?

I sort of care about XP and levels though... if it means unlocking alt/skins...

By all means, stats and records are nice. It's also nice to care. But there is caring TOO much. There's no honor or pride in quitting. It seems like some people just aren't raised to feel as such. Just as some choose to do absolutely whatever it takes to get the result they desire, while others believe in a certain honor system. I don't quit, regardless who I am facing, how much they annoy me, or regardless how much i'm hoping to pull out a win...because I think quitting is for cowards, babies, pussies...you get the idea. I think the whole mindset of someone who feels the need to quit out of something because they don't want a loss to show on their record, is pathetic and embarassing. I'd honestly feel like a fool if my friends, family, girlfriend etc. knew I couldn't handle losing in a video game. lol

That was my point. I still strive for a good record, leaderboard spot, or to rank up etc. That's called being competitive. I am definitely competitive. Love competition. But I have honor, pride, respect, and dignity. No amount of desire to win, will take those away. I have way more fun in a close intense matchup, even if it ends up in a loss, than I do absolutely destroying someone with no effort. Meaning, at the end of the day, it's most important for me to have fun, competitive fun, rather than getting an easy win.

No really sometimes i think THEY ARE about fan service and listen to fans but sometimes (like this time) i am thinking they are not- if you put characters ur fans want you can't ignore J'onn it's like making an avengers game and making Captain America (founding member anyone?) a cameo or something ya know?
and if i understood he is gonna be a stage interaction which pretty much eliminates his chances of being DLC just like Darkseid, Atom Smasher, Giganta ....

Oh I AM NOT leaving it like this!! I will freaking make a facebook group if i need to asking for MMH, I am gonna tweetstalk them to death every fucking day asking for MMH - oh yeah i am pretty stuborn on this - like i said countless of times - I bought this game coz i was like 90% sure he was gonna be in!! xD I mean really... and if he is not DLC well than - i guess he was too COMPLICATED for them to make - OH YEAH BOON - if you are reading this (ever) I AM DARING YOU!! xD
Maybe he has too many powers and yall are afraid of making him :p

- Endurance/Survival mode: run through all the opponents with one lifebar
- Time-attack mode(variant of classic mode)
- Poisoned mode(variant of classic mode, slowly lose life)
- Single fight lets you pick the AI's character
- XP lets you buy other modes, costumes, art, ...
- Ares showed up in a cutscene with a lot of detail => pretty much confirms he's playable

Gonna check out other Belgian gamesites for some new info.

I wish other fighting games would take the game mode from Guilty Gear, I think it's called Abyss Mode? Not sure, but you level up your characters stats as you go through different AIs and it gets harder and harder and you fight boss battles every couple fights. After each fight you could unlock power ups for your character, stat increases, gold to save for future runs through the mode, etc. It was a really nice blend of RPG elements and fighting game elements.
