Which Versions of MK 9 are YOU getting?

So which versions of MK9 are you all getting? Standard Version, Kollectors Edition or Tournament Edition or multiple ones?

I plan on getting both the KE and TE, as well as the guide

Despite console choice, which ones will you get now that we definitely know all the versions, editions etc they'll be offering to us to buy!

My choice was tough between KE and TE but me being the MK nut I am, I had to say fuck it and get both lol...my saving starts now...

I'm getting the standard edition first. I host casuals, and I know a guy who can get me the game early, just sadly not with the tournament edition pack.

And after the game releases, im getting the tournament edition version.

Im going TE most definitely, hopefully I can get my stick to run on my mac so I can finally have a mk layout for umk3 ( Been playing on either pad or 6button SF for a while.)

Im not sure yet. I already have two AIAB MK sticks with this exact same layout. Plus the AIAB's use genuine I.L. parts and not the inferior chinese made Happ's. Plus I have two of OminousReds custom MK sticks on the way. It would be pretty tough to justify spending the money on a stick I already know has inferior parts when I have 4 already. Il have to see, but for now Il say Im getting the regular version for PS3 and 360.

Tim, question. In your expert MK opinion, do you think these sticks are really going to be "limited edition"? Or is it gonna be like Madcatz when the T.E. first came out?(They said that was limited edition to and now look, you cant take a step outside without tripping over a T.E. lol)
What Im asking is do you think in the future they will be available to buy by themselves?

Good question Rob, I am 100% sure that the sticks are gonna be limited edition for the first couple of months so WB can sell enough and then you'll be able to get them even separately and not bundled. Its only a matter of time...i think ill get one of them as well.

Just depends on how the game does. If it takes off, expect everything lol. If not, expect these to be pretty limited.

My girlfriend is talking about getting the Kollectors edition for me since my birthday runs in April. So I chose KE. If something comes up however I don't really mind only getting the standard edition, but I want the figurines and the artbook.

Idk though man.. Some stores hold special deals where you could get it $10-$15 cheaper and that's brand new. If I were you I'd check (<-- lol no pun intended) around on the websites and see if someone has a special deal going on soon after release.

@ Death - I've been getting screwed over for almost a year now with money. I'm supposed to be getting some money every month since im going to school... I got it the first few months i started, then once last christmas came around, i never saw a dime after that. I havent even gotten a haircut since the summer. I spent the money i was gonna get on a haircut to pay for my bus and train to NEC. Whatever i have leftover from bus money = how much money i have every week.

With the way things are looking it isn't gonna get any better anytime soon, but if I can get all the essential living stuff done and have some spare money in the next couple of months I'll try and send it too you.

Regardless of just getting it for me, do it for the memories, because once i get my hands on MK9 and make all those videos, you can look back and say "Yea, I'm glad i did that for Check."

Thats how i see it for MKDA. If it wasnt for Konqrr sending me a copy of MKDA, i never would of made ANY of those videos, let alone been able to record those insane matches with Tom Brady 2 weeks ago at NEC.
