Real talk , Kintaro believe it or not is low to mid tier. His teleport is so easy to punish and it's like the only good thing he has.Flamethrower isn't as nearly as good as Sektor's. The air grab is alright I guess.

Kano is more likely than Raiden or KL tbh (considering the 2 clues).

A lot of people have Kano on their bottom 5 list but if I remember correctly, Tom has always believed he was top 10 or near it. I remember him saying how he only had like 1-2 bad matchups.

Based on that second "used to have a face" statement, I'd assume it's Rain. CD Jr used to main him, and absolutely dropped him post-patch. There is no one in the offline scene using him at a high level, despite the character's potential.

Liu Kang is also a possibility, but he is represented by XBlades, and there was nobody prominent who mained him exclusively beforehand (Denzel? ATL Redd?). And I doubt he'd be talking about a new main, and then go to Kung Lao, who people have confused as his main various times.

Though I dunno why I'm surmising any of this when I shouldn't really give a crap who someone else is going to be using in this game, especially when he may just flip-flop and ultimately stick with Sub-Zero.
