You're damn right i'm going to quit a match if the opponent is engaging in cheap bullshit.

If you think my gaming time is going to be devoted to trying to get in on Deadshot in a situation created by a choice of game design that stacks the odds heavily against me, where I can't actually play my chracer, I have to play frogger jumping the fucking logs.

So, no. I don't feel guilty. Blame that hack Boon for how he designed the game.

I think the mistake you're making is that you are taking the game seriously, even the developer didn't do that so I don't think the players should. I just play for fun, which unfortunately this game isn't. I can deal with walkback wankers, I usually just roll my eyes at losing to projectile play but I have yet to find one match up that I actually enjoy playing as my character. Piss poor that I can do better with Harley who I barley touched in inj1 than somebody I spent some time trying to get a handle on just because she has a projectile and some range on her normals

I think it's gear that has mostly killed the game for me, you're left having to play ranked or work 10 times as hard as your opponent to compensate for not being a gear hunter. I once had to do 17 seperate conversions with Cheetah to clear a batmans lifebar while I got touched by the most basic conversion and lost around 50% of a bar. I know that I am pretty impatient at the moment but I struggle to believe anyone could find that 'fun'
 
What the hell is wrong with jumping in this game? it is next to impossible to properly anti air so many characters.
Anti airs are fake as fuck, unless you have a projectile. Those anti air reliably for some reason


every problem with this game, aside from the input buffer issues, can be summed up with:

NRS has no concept of risk/reward.

They seem to design characters based on what looks cool with complete disregard of how things would play out between 2 people. This explains why antiairs don't work, fireballs are overly difficult to navigate, or characters kits being completely overloaded. I Imagine the whiteboards in the NRS offices resembling 3rd grader's composition notebook doodles of their ideal superheroes.
A lot of the time they will do something "different" than other fighting games for the sole purpose of being contrarian. This is probably the only reason they refuse to use hitboxes or why you can block in the middle of hitstun SOMETIMES. And someone PLEASE explain to me why we still have to dial a combo but can't special cancel late?



tl;dr It's a really fun game but NRS is still making janky shit

NRS also has no concept of balance.

You'd think after getting booed at evo for that cheap superman that won, they might learn but instead they release red hood who can do exactly the same thing with fulls creen air zoning. Insane.

honestly also I know im gonna get hate for this...but some characters zoning should be toned down...not build a shit load of meter from it also. I get it theres a way around zoning etc but for example..I do not know deadshot for shit. I am a fraudulent deadshot...I still win matches against decent players by being a cunt tho lol. :p

Well, black adam walkback and darkseid jumpback meta is excruciatingly boring to play against.

I know pros have to do it because money, but me, who plays the game for fun, finds this pointless to go through. There's not even an ounce of fun to have playing Bane and Scarecrow doing frogger through lasers and lightning.

Even if by some miracle I win, I still wouldn't play that matchup again because it drains the fun straight out of my soul.

Second annoying thing is: ever since the start of the game on release, I wanted to try out Captain Cold ice platform ability. I have since then opened close to 800 boxes, spent 300k on more boxes, got cold to 20 in full epics of which i have more than 3 per body part and I STILL DIDNT GET THE FUCKING ABILITY HOW THE HELL DO YOU DESIGN THIS SHIT WHAT DO YOU EXPECT ME TO DO DIE IN YOUR GAME TO GET THE DROP?

The "game is too early" crowd is clueless as always.

Everyone with more than an amoeba level brain could see the adam aquashit batbroken crap day 1, hell , been complaining since inj1 nobody gave a crap, made them identically broken.

Just relax guys. There is a 100000000% chance that the game will receive patches. Nobody wants to see a character get butchered or see them jump 6 tiers, I'm glad that it's not happening instantly.

Supergirl's enhanced teleport should not be an overhead...
Her teleport is literally a free combo against her every time she uses it. It's terrible.


Someone swapped competitive off a second before the match started earlier today. What a bitch thing to do. Dumpstered him after with supergirl though, after which he complained about her teleport being broken and it being the only reason I won (when I barely used it) and how I was trash with anyone else, even though I beat him with Black Canary when he was atrocitus... Like come on.

So I've been playing AM a lot and I've found that these input glitches are incredibly debilitating:

-Any input that follows an air 3 WILL BE DELAYED. Meaning, if you tried an ^3, b1,2 the input will either 1) not come out, or result in either a b2 or a standing 2 depending on if you're still holding the direction

-Just fought a green lantern, and I hope you weren't planning on punishing any b1,3s anytime soon because your b1,2 just became b2 and they KILLED you.

-If you want either of the above to WORK you will have to intentionally delay the move after the heavy move or after the block. That also means if you're blocking back you will have to RE-ENTER the back input for the move. Never how that worked before but whatever. And after the ^3 you have to wait like an extra millisecond before you can input the move, and by then you have like 2 frames to actually catch your opponent so good luck with that timing.

This was NEVER an issue in IGAU and this was NEVER an issue in MKX. How the fuck have we DEVOLVED!? I want to take a video of this soon but it will have to be from a camera because I can't rip the image from the console.

You're not wrong. Theo was getting jump in attack that would hit then immediate B2 (blocked obv) instead of jump attack, b12 with Aquaman. He did it like 4 times in CEO top 8.

I suspect some of it comes from the buffering and some of it has to do with the different stun on hit vs block. It's really whack that your timing changes so dramatically based on hit vs block. Something is wrong.

I just went into practice to test it. I've found that if you whiff it you'll likely get a missed input and unless you inout the direction AGAIN you will get a missed input.
