Most characters need to spend a bar to beat 32%, so the close to 1:1 ratio does apply in a lot of match ups.

In any case, it's still a much better situation than most characters in this game. It's not tremor levels of stupid, but it's pretty good.

I have to admit I have read the entire thread but I have never seen so much hate for a move that has become +7.
Hell, I'll take +7 anything for 1 bar for Cage. Really. Anything you want.

If having something guaranteed as a followup is required for spending a bar, i'll take that for Cage as well :p

You obviously don't understand that your character still has some of the best stagger pressure in the game, still has one of the fastest reversals, best anti air in the game, and still manages to keep his combo starting option select with regular hat being safe and EX still being plus. Your character is not dead. Be glad EX Hat didn't get nerfed to -1.

Only legit complaint the Lao community should have is the scaling to 44 because it hurt Buzzsaw and Hat Trick as well, 2 variations that did not deserve to be nerfed.

Laughable post since no competent lao actually uses reg hat unless its on certain jailing strings...+7 is fine but dont come into the lao forum and act like u know what ur talking about and saying its insignificant..also u must not play offline because staggered strings are very reactable

Yes I know that he has gaps, yes I agree that his damage nerf was unwarranted but he's still a fucking solid character. Chill the fudge out. Blow me up, tell me to fucking "log off". You guys knew this was fucking coming. Adapt to it, he's still top 5, idgaf what anyone says.

"I don't even know what changes are coming to half of the roster, the new version with all the buffs and changes isn't out yet, but I know Tempest is top 5 after getting nothing but nerfs". Ridiculous.

+7 with pushback. thats the issue. PUSHBACK. So techinically having PUSHBACK on a +7 = WORTHLESS.

Let me reiterate just so all of you fucking turds that are blowing this out of proportion can relate some what. I disagree with the damage nerf, i disagree that his ex hat is plus 7 but we still have the push back, i think his j2 is fine now, i think that he's still really fucking solid we just have to think more after starting our pressure. We have no real mix ups I guess you can say. Just fucking practice it and adapt a new plan. There's so many fucking situations with the character now that makes us think MORE which in the long run is honestly fine.

Sorry you can't rinse and fucking repeat. He's still fun to me and I still think in this BETA he is top 5. Sorry despridouche or however you spell your dumb name, I left that part out in my previous posts. You still should have known what I was getting at instead of trying to be a typical internet dweeb looking to argue.

Stop dreaming so much and just figure shit out in his current state in the BETA or what is to come. It's nice to want things but if you know they're not coming just deal with it and play your fucking heart out with what you have.
