Who is your main and how do I beat you?

EX Ovi should launch
I thought you were going to say "backdash her stuff". But yeah punishing spray is also a big deal.
Its like -14~15 but I can use it as a pressure tool against some players. I can end it a split second early and mash d4 or backdash away, giving me insane free chip and meter building that just isnt deserved at all, people just need to learn to react to the hand with their fastest reversal and its game over.

If the one thing I should rely on to beat Lao is to duck his grabs, then....
Like it or not, it's an extremely good tip. I play people all the time who cry about how they can't tech my grab, or about the grab system in general. If you tech, what do you get? If you neutral duck it, which is easier, you get a full combo.

Its a good tip, but in order for them to do that they need to make a huge read on the grab. Teching can be slightly reactionary but ducking is a complete read. Make the wrong read and you get 35% + a setup. Make the right read and you avoid 12% + get a full punish off a fast normal. Sometimes its worth the risk, but a lot of time the momentum on Kung Lao is more important than momentum on the character you're playing.

Its not easy to do, but I do agree that its very useful. Often when Kung Lao staggers a 11, I'll down poke, sometimes you beat out their follow up and other times you'll low profile their follow up grab.

Main FA Jacqui:
How to beat me: duck under the gunshots, play a character who trades better at long range or zones a bit easier, or end all your strings right outside of my poking range (which is really short for Jacqui).
I really like using Mileena (Piercing) in this match up since I can counter zone with Low Sai from fullscreen making normal Hand Cannon whiff or if the Low Sai is blocked then if my opponent does a Hand Cannon reversal I can just Low Sai again or if I'm midscreen I can Ball Roll safely. The only risk Mileena has is Jacqui's EX Hand Cannon's rockets which hit Low Sai but depending on the situation Mileena has an answer or she just can block it and take 1.88% damage.

Main: Sub Zero

Sub Zero doesn't lose

Secondaries: FF Liu Kang, A-List Johnny, Ethereal Mileena, Warlock Quan
How to beat me with them: Just pick your main because I don't know wtf I'm doing yet.
As Jaqcui in her zoning game you can also switch up to her Up Rockets wich are pretty fast , +11 on block, an oppertunity to do a combo on hit and it has a quick recovery. You can also switch up to Low Rocket wich is also a oppertunity to do a combo on hit.

I'd say how to beat Jacqui - Full Auto : Use an Armor move right after a string when you predict the Low Rocket as follow up on block. There is always a gap between a combo string and low rocket on block. Her f2,u2, 2+4 also has a gap between u2 and 2+4. Even if you do F2, u2 , dd4 , there is also a gap between 2+4 and dd4. Only if you do "du,4" (the dd4 cancel) and block right after it, you are able to block your opponents next move.

And yes her range is fucked up... T-Rex arms like Sektor in MK9. You can't punish everything with her standing 1. Try to use her f12. It has a good range. Probably her best "longest range" combo starter. And if it doesnt punish, you're +2 on block then ;).

Ferra/Torr Vicious

Advancing normals hurt Ferra Torr easily, especially Jack's and Johnnys Knee, for they beat out a lot of moves frame wise which F/T has.

Has cross over issues. His back 2 anti air normal is 18 frames, and does not handle cross ups well.

Jumping when i try to wake up command grab is easily done.

Also bait out our God like NJP for it is negative -22 on block I believe.

For Sub Zeros, Cyromancer is the only one that is not neutered by Boss Toss.

Also keep away zoning, and teleports that can be inputted after I throw Ferra are a big weakness.

Let me see if I can do this right cause some of these answers lelel.

Goro: Figure out a way to space him out and exploit his weaker mobility since he is strongest up close, he will often struggle at getting in that space if your movement and footsies are top notch. Learn how to play the post blocked punch walk guessing game effectively. Figure out all of his options, your options and the risk/reward for each.

Goro is almost always safe or plus on block, which means you need to blow him up when he whiffs something whether that be punch walk, telestomp, forward 3 or what have you. You kind of have to concede that you cannot pressure him like most other characters in the game on knockdown or while he's standing because of his plethora of armor options. This and the trying to poke back too much when he's plus or when he cancels off of pokes straight up KILLS people.

It is better this way
Grandmaster: learn how your character can punish blocked strings canceled into Klone, picking a character that can punish B2 will help tremendously, don't force yourself to deal with Klone immidiately just be patient, sub thrives on impatience, don't pick sun/blood God unless you're into self harm, figure out all the ways you can blow up the Klone and be mindful of what is the best way to do it from where you're at on screen. Be mindful our weather or not your projectile trading with iceball will be favorable for sub or not so you know if you can zone. Learn the exact range of slide and train yourself to whiff punish the shit out of it.
Cryomancer: don't have any real pressure so be patient, same as above minus clone stuff obviously, I can deal massive damage if you screw up, and that is what sub needs u to do in Cryomancer.
