I've been saying for longest time, Takeda is one of the worst characters in the game, bottom 3, and been argued against every time. Now that this list comes out, everyone agreeing. Monkey see monkey do with a gang of people on here, must be easy not ever thinking for yourself.

Shaolin is bad. It does the same thing as Koba Jitsu and Kitana's whatever the fuck but worse because the variation specific specials are bad. I've tried to make it work, MIT tried to make it work, and so have a few others but all it has is a fast start-up string.

I've heard a lot of people starting to suggest that Shaolin is the best KJ variation. If you check out the Shaolin thread, Some Cuban Guy posted some nice footage that I think demonstrates well some advantages it has over Bojutsu

Which is one of the reasons boneshaper is the best variation currently. Dark beam is legit now.

And other variations have that shitty Amulet strike which is useless besides damage in corner combos.

Swap out Reptile and Takeda
Move Liu Kang higher
Move Jax higher
Put Kung Jin in the top ten

Really? Big statements to make, saying SonicFox is a scrub, and that you know how to deal with one of the highest level competitive strategies in the game better than he does. I'm open minded though, so what exactly is it that Fox was doing wrong that you would do better?

What mournful and Kobu jutsu don't have is long as range normals that lead to a safe 50/50.

I honestly believe it's his best variation, and have done so for quite some time (around the time I hopped on the brawler Cassie train).

Liu Kang should probably be higher, the chip damage he does with flame fist is the best I've seen in any fighter.

no right after flame fist chained onto F44 you can poke stuff into full combo punish, thats why he is where he is, other characters can do what he does but just do it better. like cassie/sonya

You're misinformed.

f44 SF is +7. If he follows up with b12, you can't even backdash and it blows up armour for a full combo.

you can't 'poke for a full punish' this isn't injustice.

Would you agree with my previous post on JC at 16, Liu 17, and Mileena, Kitana and Kano at 18, 19, and 20 respectively?

Whether or not the list is correct, the one encouraging thing is that we saw a lot of these "low tier" characters in the top 16 at CEO.

@Pig Of The Hut said it a ton of times while commentating, but being "low tier" in this game does not mean you are bad. At least at this point in the game's life, I'm very pleased to see the massive amount of competitive viability among the cast.

In regards to this specific list it looks pretty good to me. Obviously some things I disagree with but that will happen especially this early in the stage of the game. I think Quan Chi and Jax should switch. Kung Jin and Erron Black should be higher. Kenshi should be lower.

I played his Kitana yesterday on stream and every time i went for a B321xxEXhatspin he took the ex hat instead of back dashing the gap in between, could of even armor through if he wanted some damage, and besides if you dont want to risk that for some reason, you can just sit there and not get hit because while he has hat pressure going he has ZERO mix-ups, no low no oh, only thing you can do is grab, which can be blown up. If he didn't respect hat pressure with a backdash or armor he woulda had me beat free, however that was not the case.
