READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!? The 2011-2012 NFL thread

As a Browns I was pleasantly surprised Cleveland won. This was the type of game Cleveland usually loses (especially after the BS penalty on the celebration and phantom horse-collar)but the D came up huge when needed. Colt stepping up in the clutch after struggling all game makes me realize this team was a fluke play away from being 3-0.

That game had me biting my nails though. It was 16-3 at one point then we lost Cody Grimm and Geno Hayes in one play. On top of the fact that freeman had an off day (actually he really hasn't been great this season) and the offense sputtered in the 4th quarter till the last drive. Oh well, a win's a win. Now we have a winnable game against Indy on monday night next week.

take away the "fluke" play (if by fluke you mean your team in la-la land not ready to play the down) and you still lost by 3. Get real.

Holy hell I.can't believe the boys squeaked it out against Washington. Between our retarded center and clueless receiver corps, I seriously coulda used a xanax for that game. Sooooo lucky.

I really like how Tony Romo is really taking over the leadership role on the field. Props to him so far this season, he's really only made 1 bad pass and what QB cant say that, Tom Brady can say he's made 5 bad passes thus far.

Absolutely! He's finally showing signs of being that hardened leader that REALLY wants his team to perform and win. As opposed to sulking on the bench like a little child when things don't go his way. It's a hell of a transformation on his part. Good shit, now if my boys can manage to not choke in clutch scenarios and actually manage to have more then two targets for receptions down the field, we'll be doing alright. That's been a huge problem, its not hard to know who to cover when you're 4 wide and the only veterans running routes are Witten and bryant (or Austin last week) If bryant and Austin get health, we will at least force the opp to cover more than two guys. That shit was painful to watch.

I wouldn't say that just yet.

Before Sunday the bills were involved in the top 2 longest winning streaks vs one team in the NFL. Pats 15 in a row over the bills and the bills 10 in a row over the bengals.
Well the bills just got their monkey off their backs.

Weird shit with this upcoming game like the bills have lost like 6 in a row on oct 2nd games and the bills winning streak over the bengals franchise, the bengals being upset with losing to the bills like they did last year, Ryan being let go by the bengals. trap game, still thinking about their win over the pats.

All of this shit comes into play This Sunday. This game is bigger then anyone else thinks

Marvin Lewis has already said they will be 2-2 after this Sunday.

The number 3 offense (bills) VS the number 3 defense (bengals) a defense that is very very good and will be the first true test for the bills. This may end up being a extremely low scoring game with a questionable outcome.

This game is huge for both teams.


No expectations 3-13. Go bills!!

the big game changer in this game is the none catch call by stevie johnson. stevie never ever let the ball touch the ground and they reviewed it and still said no catch :confused:

bengals may have still won but that changed the game hardcore.. refs cant get involved in games like that..
