Continue to discuss the matches and ignore the trolls like everyone else. Why do their actions have a negative effect upon you? You can literally just not answer them and have the discussion you're looking for. You're creating problems out of nothing.

Streamchat always will have trolls and haters, just like this site will always have trolls and haters. This place isnt that bad tough and thankgod there are enough ppl here who do respect other fightinggames and not the one they currently play. But with every site that gets bigger you also have more haters and fools. It is what it is...

You know, you're right. I should know better. I guess I found it shocking that with all the crap Injustice and its community has been getting and is still suffering from, people turn around and do the exact same shit to another game and its community.

It's doesn't really make any sense.

Coming here and complying about NRS game/community is pointless? Same story like we would go to Capcom community site and complain about their behavior. No point at all. Not to mention that hes post is like half valid at best.

No see where you went wrong is believing that we're not hypocrites. Of course we are. We are fans of Injustice and MK and want to see those games streamed as much as possible. When we were crying over Injustice getting the shaft at multiple events, it wasn't because we were standing up for the smaller communities, we just wanted OUR scene to get more exposure. Now that we're getting that exposure at the cost of other games, you shouldn't be surprised that we don't care. We're selfish, just like most other sects of the FGC. I couldn't give the tiniest fuck if KI got streamtime, because I want to see it about as much as I want VD. Honestly, i'm amazed that you believed we were all altruistic gentlemen that stood up for the weaker communities. Nah, son. We just want to see our game. Welcome to fan communities, enjoy your stay.

as somebody that came from a community outside of the NRS community, this guy nailed it on the head. ill be real, sometimes you guys have this "my game is better then your shitty game" mentality that really makes you guys look like a bunch of assholes. Alex Valle did an amazing job showing every game their fair share of love. so if you're going to say "hey how come sf or marvel can be streamed all day?", have you ever thought that the majority of the people in the venue came for those games? Also, the people that run the event are from capcom backgrounds and can do whatever the fuck they want. if you are running your own event you can do whatever you want, but portraying your community like that isn't really the best look.

no tournament got the shaft here, valle gave almost every game stream time. if you think injustice got shafted because they started the day streaming KI then you are fucking retarded. YOU ARENT EVEN AT THE GOD DAMN EVENT. lets be serious. how can you say a touranment got the shaft when he expanded the cap, gave ample stream time AND got top 8 ON THE MAIN STREAM.

Get your heads out of your asses.

What the fuck am I reading? I saw this exact same shit in the stream chat during both the KI pools and KI top 8. All of it, and it was fucking annoying.

Remember people actually BOOING the Injustice finals at EVO last year? Remember Capcom fans and players trashing Injustice as a competitive game? Remember all the "GET THIS CRAP OFF THE STREAM!!!!" trolling whenever Injustice has been streaming? Remember how this game its players have had to continuously struggle to gain respect and acceptance from the rest of the FGC? And now I see all of this shit?

Yeah, SCR hates Injustice, right? So much that they even streamed not only its pools and top 16, but also its 3v3 teams tournament, and streamed its top 8 on the main Levelup channel with a subscriber-only room to prevent the chat from being overrun by trolls. Yup, they just LOOOOOOOOVEEE KI to the point where SCR didn't raise its cap after it reached its limit early, didn't stream half of its pools and at the last minute, fucked up its top 8 schedule to the point where one of the players in the top 8 was nearly had to forfeit his place due to the change fucking up his personal schedule.

What makes this worse is after the bullshit and hate that has been heaped on this heaped, its fans turn around and do the exact same shit to another game. This shit was as bad as Marvel players complaining that Marvel doesn't get enough respect from TO's and that [insert NRS/anime game here] is being streamed over Marvel, and then shitting on said game.

I like fighting games in general and I was looking forward to some live Injustice footage, but this has actually soured me on the game.

I used to have respect for the NRS community.

I guess that was misplaced.

Play games you like, watch games you like, support games you like. Dont be an asshole, dont shit on other games, and stop being a pussy. Contrary to popular belief dont have to step on heads to get ahead.

Well OP is kinda right. Injustice community can be pretty stoopid sometimes and too dumb to realize why.

It's like back when MK9 was new and every other community was helping them grow yet they still shit on Capcom community/games and Tekken. Then they wondered why MK died so fast lol. You can't expect other communities to respect you, your game and your players when you treat others like shit after they've helped you so much.

If folks showed up to see a certain game and its not streamed due to another title they often feel like they were cheated by some other game's fanbase. Its just how it is. Show up for "Y" game and "Z" game is on? Later only top 8 showed of "Y"? This upsets fans of Y game.

Doesn't matter what two games are involved its not exclusive to any one game's fans. Its just the simple fact that folks want dedicated streams for their game and dont generally have time to invest in multiple scenes. If some other scene's game is on it interferes with their own. This isn't just an NRS thing. Its more an issue of how much streaming gear is on hand and how many dedicated channels a major has running at a time. If the event has more games running than streams expect fans to get upset. Sorry, but thats just how it goes. Understanding is called for on both sides but people dont exactly show up to these to cordially shake hands nod and wave like golf. Folks come wanting to see a fight and in that mindset you get these kind of things if their fights aren't shown.

Just look at it objectively next time instead of "souring" on a scene. Otherwise you will sour on EVERY scene before its over.
